Designed for air conditioning and refrigeration service, this ROBINAIR CoolTech(R) vacuum pump has an offset rotary vane for fast, thorough evacuation. The 2-stage, offset rotary vane design can provide powerful, quiet high vacuum capability and assures moisture removal, while the high pumping capacity helps reduce evacuation time. Model features an Iso-Valve(TM) that allows you to shut off the pump while still connected to the A/C-R system-ideal for checking the rate of rise. An intake filter prevents foreign material from entering the pumping chamber, while an internal exhaust filter separates oil vapor from the exhaust flow. Note: Pump is for use with AC/R systems using CFCs, HCFCs, and HFCs in conjunction with alkylbenzene oil, ester oil, mineral oil, and PAG oil as lubricants. Not for use with ammonia or lithium bromide systems, and not for the use with flammable refrigerants.
